In the Endless Rain
 The thundering sky flashed with a brilliant white light.  Massive black clouds loomed overhead and began to pour down bucket-sized drops of rain.  I hurriedly ran for cover under the bus shelter, sighing in relief.  Sitting down, I stared up at the roof, and then at the sky.  Even though it was obviously going to rain, I thought I could make it home before it did.  Apparently, I was wrong.  The rain wasn’t supposed to let up until later that evening.  Soaked from head to toe, I couldn’t wait to change into warm dry clothes.  I tried to remember what I was doing in a dreadful place like this, and after little thought, remembered: no

ayup! it was the lowest thing we could find to use as a chair/bench. everything else was either too low or too high.
